twenty one!!

Day before yesterday, I became 21!! My birthday is July 14th.

On that day I went to Tokyo Summer Land with my friends. There were various kinds of pools.
Especially I liked "screamer". We took a float boat and fall down. I enjoyed its thrill. I had a very good time there but I got tanned.

Many people celebrated my birthday. I was so happy. In addition I ate many pieces of cake so I gained weight. I have to diet.

A Wonderful Book!!

Do you want a book that you can save 100,000 yen(=about $1,000)? I bought the book today. It is not to give me money but to save it by myself.

In the book there are 20 forms of circle a page. All I do is to put a 500 yen coins in it. The use of it is not enough. This interesting book tells about the sights and special products of each prefecture in Japan. Every circle has a word; for example Tokyo Tower, Mt. Fuji and a explanation of them. As often as I put a coin in it, I read them. I'll be able to know much information of Japan.

I'm trying to save money. If I can save 100,000 yen, I'd like to travel around Japan!!

Coming of Age Ceremony

On January 11st there was a Coming of age ceremony in Kofu. I got up at five thirty in the morning. Then I went to the beauty salon to prepare for the ceremony. I had my hear worn up and put on the long-sleeved kimono.

In the hall, boys were wearing the suits and girls were wearing the kimonos. They were very beautiful. I met a lot of friends living in Kofu. I had many pictures taken. During the ceremony a surprising thing happened. The popular group appeared on the stage and sang for us. That was very breathtaking.

After the ceremony there was a alumni meeting of junior high school. Many students and teachers came to the party. I talked to them a lot. Good old memories rushed into my mind. I enjoyed very much.

Santa Claus is coming!!

Today is not Christmas. However in my house there was a Christmas party. Santa Claus was coming a little before. Dinner was special menu; fillet steak, mashed potatoes, broccoli soup, French bread and salad. Talking of Christmas, Chicken is standard menu but my father does not like Chicken. Therefore my mother grilled fillet stakes. Mashed potatoes was made by me. All of the dishes were very delicious!! After eating them, two kinds of cakes were waiting for me. One was shortcake and the other was chocolate cake. I had both so I ate too mush today. However I was very happy.
